Here is a photo from the tv spot I did in Denver over the holiday. I don't know if you can see my total lack of a facial expression, but seriously I was having a good time. We did 2 live interview segments about how to take care of houseplants. The guy with me is Rob Proctor, the WB's 'garden guy' and aparently this was a very slow news day in Denver for them to do this. That's right, my tv debut was on the WB. Rockin'!! We had to wake up at 5am to meet the camera crew at the store - maybe that's why I look like this...I didn't have any Dunkin' Donuts coffee that day!! Actually I was up at 3am - I had set my alarm clock for 5am but didn't realize it was still on East Coast time. It wasn't until I was half way into the shower before I realized what time it really was. That's why famous people have assistants I guess, to make sure their alarm clocks are programmed correctly.
I'm anxiously waiting for the video copy of the bits, and hope I looked more engaging on screen than I do in this photo!! Something must have worked though - my parents reported a big boom in business the next day from people who had seen the spot. I should have asked for royalties.
