Give me some credit

Yes, you're at the right blog. I just felt the new year should me a new look to the ol' blog. What do you think?

I spent day two of the new year organizing. Real exciting stuff here...purging old documents out of my files, cleaning, generally trying to get my life ready for a new year of writing and working. I know, how thrilling right? But I love that feeling of being organized (can you say Capricorn?) and wish I'd had more time to tackle my closets.

I found a great website that you should check out if this time of year gets you interested in organizing and finances. Check out this link for how to get a free credit report from the three major credit monitoring services. You can only get a free report once a year in most states but this site makes it really easy. There's lots of sites out there that advertise "free" credit reports but you only get them after paying a fee. Um. Hi. That's not free then guys. So remember yesterday when I told you that one of my resolutions was to submit to more auditions? Well I did, right after I wrote that, and by 6:30pm last night I was at an audition already! For one of the female leads in a play that will go up next month at a one-act festival. I was pretty proud of myself for starting off the new year with an audition, and although I have no idea if anything will come of it, it was pretty cool to keep me acting going in some capacity. Hey, I spent most of 2005 in acting class, it's time to put those skills to work!!

I can't believe my birthday is tomorrow.
