My .00015 seconds of fame

Today is quite a day for me - my television AND publishing world debuts!! Here's the stats...if you can tune in or come by, please do!

Friday, July 8

6:30-9:30pm
Center for Book Arts
28 West 27th Street
New York, NY
3rd floor, (Buzzer #7)

Come see a display of graphic design and publishing students and their work. A paragraph from a novel I am writing was included in the show! Look for the work of Melinda Satterfield.

Or if reading isn't your cup of tea, tune in to MTV2 at 9pm tonight (TIVO if you're coming to the publishing show people) for the pilot episode of Stankervision. I filmed a prank scene for this episode, and while I can't guarantee I make the final edit of the show OR that the show is even funny, it may be worth it to catch my television debut. I play a shopper walking out of a suburban shopping mall (a Michael's Craft Store OF COURSE) who is shocked when she witnesses a prank on an unsuspecting old lady. No old ladies or lobsters were hurt in the filming of the scene. Hopefully I made the cut and you can see my amazing acting skills in action. Note that this is MTV2, which is different than MTV. In NY, MTV2 is carried by TimeWarner and is on channel 860 or something like that.

So there you go ladies and gentlemen. Have a wonderful weekend, enjoy the shows if you come or watch them, we'll recap next week. Mr. DeMille, I'm ready for my close-up.

Gayle, I was sad that your seen appeared to be cut from the TV show! :( Might they put it in another episode?

I hope the display went well!
