Well, Wedding Week 2005 came to a happy conclusion. Everything turned out beautifully - despite United Airlines LOSING MY SISTER'S LUGGAGE and a 45 minute rain delay before the outdoor ceremony. My sister was absolutely beautiful, and hey, I cleaned up pretty good too don't you think?
I don't know if you can see the cake photo clearly enough, but there are tiny little music notes painted on the cake - Matt COMPOSED that music, and it's actually a canon that could be played...and it was during the ceremony. I'm pretty sure the cake lady is retiring after having to do all that work, but it was amazing.
It was truly one of the happiest days of my life, to watch my little sister get married, and yes, I did my fair share of crying. Matthew and Christina are now on their honeymoon. Whether or not she has left my parents with any money to help ME when I get married remains to be seen, and while part of me is VERY glad that my parents only had 2 daughters, this day will remain one of the happiest of my life.

Holy cow, that cake is amazing! Was it yummy? I can't imagine cutting into it. BTW - eloping is always a nice stress-free option...
