What next?

Okay - so my script is due Thursday. I can't believe it. I've been working on it since January and now it's done! (To be fair, just the first draft is done. I probably have 3-4 months worth of rewrites still to do once the first draft is approved.) Anyway the plan is to put this script aside while I start work on a new one. After a month, I'll come back to the 'old' script and begin rewrites while continuing to work on project #2. Essentially the remainder of the program will be a constant cycle of rewriting old scripts and developing new ones. The idea is that once the program is over, I'll have about 4 finished feature length movie scripts and of course the ability to do that on my own without needing feedback from an instructor. Now I just have to pick a project to work on. Hmmmm.

I'm so enthusiastic about this program that my best friend Cynthia decided to enroll in the on-line version! Who knew but she's been interested in film for a while and I encouraged her to get started by learning how to write!

Just listening to NPR as I write, and they're reporting that Tom Delay is retiring. This is the best news since yesterday's Simpsons movie report. Sorry Harold.
