So this is a little creepy...on Sunday on the plane I was reading over the shoulder of the guy next to me (what, the dude was practically in my lap as it was) and I saw the following press release in the New York Times.
Ummm...That's the contact lense solution I had been using with my new contacts I got a couple months ago. Needless to say as soon as I got home I submitted my info for the refund. And I'm calling my optomitrist this morning (well not now, it's 6am) about what to use instead. "Fungal keratitis" sounds a little creepy, especially when upon further investigation I learned it leads to the need for corneal transplants in severe cases. Hey Bausch & Lomb, good work.
Needless to say I'm not wearing contacts until I have a non-blindness inducing cleaning agent. Call me picky.
