We can all do our part

After sitting in the press conference we had at Environmental Defense yesterday, I got the message that we all can do something about the environment. I found this great site where you can buy bulbs, and all sorts of cool stuff. I had been meaning to get a surge protector for my bedroom where I have a lot plugged in (computer, radio, etc.) So check this out, it's a power strip that has a motion detector attached to it. When it 'sees' that you're not in the room or using the items, it fully shuts off power! Using less energy. I also picked up a batch of low wattage bulbs. My roommate has been complaining about our high energy bills. First of all, they're not high for this area. Second of all, it doesn't help that when I get home every single light is on. But that's a problem for me and her, not you all. So check out the site, and of course this one. We really all can make a difference. And if you don't want do something, ANYTHING when you hear about melting ice caps and hurricanes and flooding, you should get off the planet so you don't mess it up for the rest of us.
