Ta da!!

The first first draft is done! Thanks to the good people at The Grind, my new coffee/tea/bagel place I had a fantastic, uninterrupted weekend and got what I had to say down on paper. 120 pages! Now I just have to go back and change every word :) Since it's technically not due until April 6, I have plenty of time to make the adjustments I want before I turn it in. Once I get my teacher's notes back, then I'll be ready to start the second draft when I changed it all again.

GW lost this weekend so our NCAA dreams are over yet again. I watched the game on Saturday and saw my old band director! Looks like the rest of the tournament is going to be really exciting...lots of big teams lost unexpectedly.

Keep your fingers crossed for my roommate today - and for my apartment. Yesterday she bought 2 huge furniture pieces for her room - a dresser and an armoir. They're nice looking pieces (which is good because in all likelihood when she moves out, I'll inherit them) and hey they fit in her room so I can't say much anyway, but she's gonna have a lot of 'fun' moving those. She bought it from a woman a couple blocks away who is moving, so it will be supposedly an easy transition to get them here. Boy is she in a for a surprise. I'll update you tomorrow and let you know how it went.
