Training the new guy

It's been a pretty good week at Ye Olde Office Job. The new guy started on Monday and I've been training him all week. Well, more like I tell him all about the job he's about to do, and then he sits right next to me and watches me work. I'm kind of ready to be done with it and let the poor guy work on his own. It's a bit odd to be sitting in a cubicle space hardly large enough for one person let alone 2 people. But hey, I'm getting paid and every thing I tell him is stuff I won't have to tell him 2 weeks from now when he's realizing he wasn't paying attention. I'm a little worried about that - the guy hasn't taken one note of a word I've said to him so we'll see what really sticks. Anyone want to take guesses on how many times per day I'll be getting a phone call from downstairs asking me to report what I said this week??

Horrible segway...but I just saw the Johnny Cash movie "Walk The Line" and it's pretty amazing. Lots of concert footage that doesn't really pertain to the story other than it's amazing that Reese Witherspoon and Joaquin Phoenix can sing so well. Worth it!!
