I just won an auction on Ebay for a lot of these. A lot as in 72 jars. Brand new, unopened in their case, but 72 nonetheless. I want to try my hand at canning and jam making this year as summer ends so I can get all these yummy peaches, nectarines, blueberries and cucumbers into cans so I can have and share the summer yumminess in the winter.
The trouble is I've never tried canning before - all the other things I've done in the kitchen have never come close to this. So with me luck as I start looking for recipes and how-to links and maybe, if you're lucky* I'll share it with you!
*or not lucky depending how things turn out

Oh - we've done it - it's fun. But you'll never use 72 jars. Unless you have lots of pairs of earrings to store.
