We be jammin'

I tried making jam last night. The time consuming part was getting the fruit chopped up but once i got that going it was pretty easy. All the jars sealed properly so that's cool, the problem is I think I used a little too much fruit so it's come out a slightly more like syrup than jam. And I knew I had to use precise measurements, which is sort of annoying . But it's delicious and will make great glazes for ham or poultry. Thankfully nectarines are on sale at the farmers market so I can afford to take another stab at being domestic.
