Survival of the fittest

Hey everyone,
I'm back...well technically in Rochester with my sister.

The staff retreat went well, considering
1) The president told a room full of everyone who works at ED that I am not very funny (long story, I'll explain someday when I'm sure no one is reading this.)

2) There was no airconditioining on the bus for the 2 hour drive back. Instead of airconditioning, there was HEAT. After a 2 hour delay and the knowledge that we couldn't get another bus, we managed to get most of the folks off and into carpools. There were 15 of us left who braved it with ice and water and a bus driver willing to drive down the highway with the door WIDE OPEN. It could have been a disaster and I can't believe we didn't get pulled over by the cops. but with the door open and the emergency hatch in the back open we actually managed a nice breeze. Long story we made it, and I'm hosting an icecream party for my employees on the bus Monday.

In the mean time I'm recuperating at my sister and brother-in-law's house and will get back on the blogathon next week.
