#145 - An open letter to William Sonoma

Dear William -

Hey man, long time customer, first time writer. Love your beautiful pans and fantastic knives. Love how your store makes me feel like Julia Childs even though I thought toast was sold buttered and toasty at the store. But you've deceived me. I thought the purpose of a registry was so I could determine and amount and specificity of products I wanted?

If that's so, why did I get 3 of the same item when I only wanted 1? I mean, I'm grateful and all, but I don't think anyone needs 3 sets of strainers. That's 3 per set, which means I now have 9 STRAINERS.

This is your way of getting me back into the store isn't it??

Sincerely, me

ps. I still love you.
** Note to readers: I did not get 9 strainers, I actually haven't gotten any yet. I did get more brownie pans than I think is necessary, but brownie pans aren't particularly funny. Strainers are, so for literary purposes I exaggerated.

Hi Gayle,

It was so nice to meet you at the workshop this weekend! I hope you are home preparing your presentation for next year.
