Almost perfect

I can't believe it. Just 24 hours ago I was mildly panicked about my dress. That we'd done the measurements wrong and I'd never fit into it. Or that I'd get it on and decide I wasn't in love with it anymore. Or it'd come in in the wrong color.

NONE of those things happened. Adam's mom and sister came with me and not only was my worry completely unfounded, if I had to get married next week I probably could! The dress is almost perfect fit wise - the seamstress just needs to take it in at the sides and around the stop of the bodice. The hem is perfect - I may decide to cut the heels off by a 1/4" so you can't see my shoes at all in the dress (but seriously, where's the fun in that??) The picture on the right shows a bit of the sleeve of the bolero jacket and the middle section of the gown - I wanted to post others but you never know when certain grooms might be snooping around the net. If you want to see the full album, comment me.

This is a major worry off my mind that I really didn't need to worry about in the first place.

The gown will stay at the dress shop through the summer and I'll go back in August for my first fitting. Obviously I'm going to keep working on my weight loss and toning of my arms and back so I look really good in the gown, but if that doesn't happen, then I will still look really good in the gown!

I was really glad my future in laws could be there and see it, missed my mom and sister who couldn't, but now that I know it's there we can go visit it anytime they may happen to come for a visit.
