Shoe fetish

I never considered myself having a problem with shoes. But see this? this is a problem. This is a problem of having lots of ideas about shoes but also being picky and eccentric. I need my shoes that I will wear at my wedding to be comfortable (hence the Crocks or the Sketchers on the bottom right hand corner) But I also need a heel because my FH is tall and I am...not.

Do I go with a traditional ivory/white shoe? I don't really want to do that because I am not really going to have a need for a pair of shoes that match a dress I will only be wearing once in my life. I have a few pairs of silver shoes which would work with our color pallet but not one of them is comfortable. (Ironically they are both pairs of shoes I have worn in the only other two weddings I've ever been in!)

I'd like to go with a purple shoe - like the one in the upper middle - if I could find the right one (the dress is long and no one will really be looking at my feet.) And I know I would totally wear fun purple shoes again.

I'm actually seriously considering these because you can customize the ribbons (hello REUSABLE) AND they are made of recycled materials. Unfortunately they are more than I had thought about spending on shoes, but they are so unusual and so reusable. And with the free returns policy I found on a reseller's website, they're also totally returnable. Reusable, recycled and returnable....my 3 favorite words.
