This is my last week in NY for a while. I'm so PUMPED that my job is finally making it possible to travel down to DC where I will spend 10 days or so working in our DC office AND visiting all my DC friends who I never get to see. The office manager in the DC office resigned and while they search for a replacement I'll fill in.
The people in NY are going to panic when they don't have me to complain to. I wonder if they'll just turn to my boss or Tim and complain to them, or if I'll come back on the 11th to find an office full of broken crap that no one has reported.
At any rate I'm super excited...I'm staying at a place near the DC office that has fully equipped kitchens so I can cook for myself while I'm in town, and offers free passes to the gym down the street. I also found a yoga studio nearby that has some really cool classes that I'll try to treat myself to. (Oh yeah, I started doing yoga. More on that later). I'm going to go to a National Symphony Orchestra concert with James Galway! (He's performing, I'm not going with him.) I'm going to go to my old church, visit with friends and their progeny. I can't wait! Of course, I'm nervous that I will have such a good time that I'll want to move back to DC, but I guess that's a bridge I'll cross when I get to it.
