Colorado native may be solution to global warming

Dateline: Minneapolis, MN

It was announced this morning that Gayle Crispin, an office manager and writer visiting friends in the Minneapolis-St Paul area this past weekend, may be the solution to global warming. "Everywhere she goes, it snows!" claims Dr. Kent Brinwood, a scientist who has been studying the effects of Gayle Crispin on global climate change for over 20 years. "Look at the facts," he says. "Denver experienced it's heaviest snow fall in 100 years over the Christmas holiday - right when Gayle was in town. Then this weekend we saw snow fall all over the midwest, including 17 inches in Minneapolis! She's heading for NYC tonight and all I have to say is 'look out'!" said the scientist as he shoveled his walk for the fourth time since Gayle's arrival.

While many politicians refute the evidence, and say that Gayle Crispin is just a person caught in an unfortunate and oddly timed series of airport delays, it is clear that a majority of the public is ready for real progress in the fight against climate change. "We don't mind if she moves to North Dakota or Alaska, they need the snow up there," said area woman Lois J. Frenbind. Area school children were excited to have the snow as were area ski resorts. "She can stay anytime she wants," claimed Allen Ukewood, the public relations executive at Keystone Resort in Colorado.

Calls to Ms Crispin's publicist were not returned, and weather forecasters are closely watching her progress as she is expected to head east tonight and will gain strength as she approaches the tri state area.
