Happy Halloween!

Hello my dearies! Happy Halloween to one and all - thought you guys would get a kick out of a couple photos from my whirlwind day on Saturday.

First up was a performance with Sammie and Tudie, a couple of clowns (literally) that I know. That's me with Sammie on the top picture. We were hired to work at a halloween party for the members fo the Harrison Farm Golf Club in Gladstone, NJ. It was a gorgous day with all the foliage changing. It was a Harry Potter theme party. As you might be able to tell from the photo, the club had decorated a huge tent like the dining hall at Hogwarts. This ladies and gentlemen is what it's like when you have huge amounts of cash. The food was amazing...they had a freakin' HOT AIR BALLOON that they would take the kids up in. I was Professor Trelwaney, the fortune teller. I told the fortunes of kids mostly, but also a huge amount of adults. The time flew and it was an absolute blast. I had the best time. My two favorite things was explaining to the little five year old boy what his life line and love lines meant on his hands...and how his love line showed that one day when he was older he'd get married to a lovely princess. And the boy said "I've always wanted to get married!!" Oh my god it was the funniest thing I'd ever heard. Then a couple of women my age came over and were totally not sure if I was real or not. Like, was I a REAL fortune teller? Or just an actor. And I tried to play them off like "well of course i'm real dearie" but they weren't buying. They did if you believe it think my hair was real. Um...are you kidding?? So finally they sat down with me and as I was reading their fortunes, I totally dropped the accent and said "okay, seriously, I'm an actor from Colorado and I'm doing this to pay rent." They LOVED it. At the very least Sammie and Tudie were pleased with my work and if they get another gig that requires a fortune teller, I'm in!!!!!

The second fab photo is of me (sans wig) and my friend Rob Miller, the crazy one on the right, and his friend Ziggy, the guy on the left. Since I was in Jersey anyway, I just went to the party straight from the country club. My costume was much less elaborate this time....but it was a long day but I had a great time!

Happy Halloween!!
